We are delighted to announce Ark Farm will be visiting they nursery garden on Tuesday 14th May 2024. Ark Farm is a mobile farm that has been visiting Batford Nursery School for a number of years. This visit offers a very positive learning experience for the children to learn about taking care of and showing responsibility for animals. It will also aid with developing an understanding of the importance of living creatures. There will be a variety of animals and birds visiting the school (no reptiles) that the children will be able to touch and handle. They set up their paddock in the nursery garden and the children will get an opportunity to visit them in their group and feed and stroke the animals if they wish to.
